Wiz Khalifa has an estimated net worth of $50 million.


Wiz Khalifa grew up in Pittsburgh where he attended Taylor High School. His stage name is derived from Khalifa (in Arabic: successor), in tribute to his grandfather who was Muslim (Wiz Khalifa is however Christian) And wisdom in English: wisdom, which was shortened to Wiz towards the age of fifteen.


Wiz Khalifa released his first mixtape, Prince of the City: Welcome to Pistolvania in 2005. The mixtape led to his first album entitled Show and Prove in 2006. Rolling Stone Magazine considers him a “watchful” artist.

In 2007, Khalifa signed with Warner Bros. Records and released two mixtapes under the label Rostrum Records: Grow Season, with DJ Green Lantern released on July 4, 2007, and Prince of the City 2, released on November 20, 2007. His first single “Say Yeah” peaked at #25 on the Billboard Rhythmic Top 40 and #20 at Billboard’s Hot Rap Tracks. Khalifa appeared with Game, David Banner and Play-N-Skillz at U92’s Summer Jam at the USANA Amphitheater in West Valley City, Utah on August 2, 2008. Khalifa released the Star Power mixtape in September 2008 and Flight School in April 2009 on the label Rostrum Records.

Wiz Khalifa separated from Warner Bros Records in July 2009, after many delays for the release of his second album. Khalifa told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that he “learned a lot with them and matured as an artist during the process. [He is] glad to leave with all his materials and have the chance to be in control of his next actions. ”

Continuing his association with Rostrum Records, Khalifa released the single “Teach U To Fly” and the mixtape How Fly, in collaboration with New Orleans rapper Curren$y, on August 9, 2009. Khalifa introduced a more melodic style on the mixtape , Alternating between singing and rap. He was the first part of the Wu-Tang U-God Clan member at the CMJ Music Marathon 2009 in New York.


Khalifa released his second album, Deal or No Deal on November 24, 2009.


Khalifa performed at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas in March 2010. He appeared on the cover of XXL magazine of the same month for the annual Top 10 Freshman magazine, which included Donnis, J. Cole, Pill, Freddie Gibbs, and Fashawn. He toured 20 dates with the rapper Yelawolf, the Deal Or No Deal Tour. Khalifa then released the Kush & Orange Juice mixtape which has been a free download since April 14, 2010. Thanks to the dedication of his fans, the mixtape became trending on Twitter with the hashtag #kushandorangejuice and “Kush and Orange Juice download” , was the most searched on Google.

On July 30, 2010, Wiz signed with Atlantic Records. He blew up  worldwide after releasing his hit single, “Black and Yellow,” which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually sold over 3 millions singles. He has since gone on to release five studio albums.



He also dated and married to model Amber Rose threw 2013 and 2014. They had a kid together, Sebastian, before divorcing.


Wiz Khalifa is a big marijuana advocate and claims to spend over $10 000 a month on good smoke.
