Weekly Rising Talent: Slap Pack Vol. 14

We’re back again with this week’s Weekly Rising Talent: Slap Pack series, wherein we feature the top tracks that captured our full attention and clearly stood out amongst all the other songs, which we have received and reviewed over the course of the week. Lots of collab tracks happening on this particular set and I can’t wait for you guys to hear them. Also, Sweden is really representing themselves pretty well in this set given that a bulk of the artists that are featured here are from there.

So, without further ado, here are the top songs (in no particular order) that made the cut in this week’s Slap Pack Vol. 14:

Finis Mundi and Melou takes on Ellie Goulding’s hit song “Love Me Like You Do” to give it some much needed feels. The Swedish native DJ/Producers successfully created a relaxing ambient atmosphere that really engulfs the listener as the tune goes on. I think its safe to say that I’ll have this on loop for quite some time.

Statik Link enlists the help of Mop Top, a DJ based in New York City, and Mighty High Coup, a HipHop group from Atlanta, to give you a sick new original, called, “Boss Sh*t”. A sure banger that can get the crowd all riled up in no time.

Nextgen Records recently released a banging new original called, “WOLFPVCK”, by Toronto natives, Elevate and Roscoe. This traptastic track features a pretty solid groove that keeps on getting better as the tune continues to progress.

The South East Grind releases Enschway‘s latest original production called, “Breathe”. This 4 minute and a half track really gets into it, with its smooth and slick progression and impeccable synth work. Created a pretty vibeful listening experience that can easily resonate with people.

Taking collaboration into a wider scale, Dave Till, a DJ/Producer from Belgium, Flaremode, an EDM producing duo from Italy, and Hard Lights, also a duo producing act from Malaysia, serves up a new hard hitting original aptly called, “Drill Machine”. It features an energetic growled up tune that can get you movin and all pumped up in an instant.

Trevor O’Leary got the wubs rolling right from the get go in his brand new orginal, called, “Foolin’”. It features a beautifully crafted melody oozing with vibes which can easily envelop the listener if he or she is not careful. An overall entrancing listening experience that gives of some pretty chilled and laidback feels.

ROBWALL a DJ/Producer from Stockholm, Sweden, recently released his latest new original mix called, “We Are One”. It features a fun melodic tune that has a pretty solid uplifting element to it, which I can’t get enough of. The vocals greatly enhances the overall catchiness of the song. A track the will grow on you and get you hooked in a matter of seconds.

Mats Gulbrandsen, a DJ/Producer from Stockholm, Sweden, alongside the ever so talented Norwegian remixer, Cosmic Dawn, take on Sia’s hit song right now, “Elastic Heart”. A smooth flowing tune that has the right amount of energy to get anyone dancing in no time, especially when that drop hits. Really good.

Emkay, a DJ/Producer from Miami hits us with a remix of Big Sean’s “Blessings”. His amped up version takes some dope twist and turns that really got my attention and did not let go of it until the very last second. A track that can surely fire up the energy of a crowd and get them all riled up in a snap.

Lodato, a DJ/Producer from NYC, teamed up with Rockhill, a producer from Jersey and Tab, a Singer/Songwriter, also from Jersey, to create a catchy new original called “Time To Spare”. This overall energetic and pretty tight production, partnered with a solid vocal performance, is really giving me life right now. Definitely a crowd pleaser.

Marcio Lama, from Dominican Republic, got the feels rolling with his latest musical concoction, called, “Winter In July”. For a song that has “winter” in its name, it only gives off a fun warm vibe that can definitely be enjoyed by anyone. Successfully creates a sickening atmosphere that fills you up with so much zest and fervor. A prefect track to boost you mood up.

Kamil, the DJ/Producer based all the way in Baku, Azerbaijan, hits us with his very own take on Dr. Dre’s “Next Episode” Feat. Snoop Dogg. He added a funky twist to it that greatly enhanced the overall feel of the original. A smooth and steady flow of good and positive energy just oozes out of this pretty solid and grooved up production.
