Watch My Morning Jacket Play “Compound Fracture” On Jimmy Fallon

My Morning Jacket’s new album, The Waterfall, comes out next week, and they made a celebratory stop by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night to debut a new track. The band did a rousing rendition of “Compound Fracture,” which they’ve already played live a few times before. (Of course, if you’ve partaken in the early leak of the album — which Jim James is fine with, for the most part — then this song is old news.) The band played the track with a gorgeous backdrop behind them that mimics the album artwork. Watch below.

The Waterfall is out 5/5 via ATO/Capitol.
