We last heard from the mysterious one-man project Recycle Culture back in November, when he released the lovely AYA EP. And now he’s returned with an equally lovely EP, this one called Trapped Goddess. This one is four tracks long, and it’s made up of shimmering, synthy, vaguely ambient soundscapes with breathy, muffled-in-reverb female vocals and occasional bits of something that sounds like banjo. It’s music that resists categorization, but it sure is nice for sitting back and taking a couple of deep breaths on a warm day. Stream the whole thing below.
You can buy Trapped Goddess for an exceedingly reasonable $3 at Bandcamp.
