Slime – “Hot Dog”

After releasing the Increases and Increases II EPs, and most recently a pair of angular singles — “My Company” and “In One Year” — Will Archer aka Slime has given us another peek into his upcoming debut album Company. The Newcastle-born, London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist delivers a seductive R&B slow-jam. “Hot Dog” starts off with a chiming cinematic intro that is soon layered with soulful female harmonies, mellow percussion, and complementing bass lines. Archer provides a sincere take on R&B — without any cliche lyrics and gimmicky music — and still puts his experimental Slime twist on it. Listen below.

Company is out 8/15 via Weird World.
