Remy Ma Destroys Nicki Minaj With “Another One”

Clearly, things are warming up between Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj.

The year 2017 seems more than ever conducive to beefs in hip-hop. The proof is given to us by Remy Ma, who after unveiling the track “Shether” gives a layer and targets once again Nicki Minaj.
Last week, Remy Ma took the little world of rap by storm, releasing a diss trackagainst her ex-comparator Nicki Minaj. The song “ShETHER” will obviously have served as a response to a rhyme dropped by Minaj on the song “Make Love” by Gucci Mane: “Oh, so that you are the queen here? Once platinum, an album Who makes a flop, where are you? “. Nicki seems to be referring to Remy Ma’s first album, “There’s Something About Remy: Based on True Story”, released in 2005 and having a flop, and the only time she got a Single certified platinum, in this case “All the Way Up” featuring Fat Joe and French Montana. Remy Ma, who was released from prison in 2014, seems a bit short changed though especially since her career was put on hold while she was serving time.

Because Remy Ma was often called the next female rapper to be able to sit on the hip-hop throne in the years 2000. Minaj robbed that spot from her, and boasts it. But Remy Ma is back at it already with “Another One”, a salty clash that pays reference to the famous diss track “Back To Back” by Drake, having stuck Meek Mill in the ground at the time of its release. Meek Mill, who was Nicki Minaj’s ex.

Will Nicki come back with a good diss track or will she follow in her ex’s footsteps?
