Mark Ronson – “Uptown Funk (Trinidad James Remix)” (Feat. Bruno Mars)

Mark Ronson’s stupidly fun Bruno Mars collab “Uptown Funk” has been reigning over the Billboard charts for a while now, and it shows no sign of stepping down anytime soon. The chorus of “Uptown Funk” lifted its “don’t believe me just watch” line from Atlanta rapper Trinidad James’s 2012 hit “All Gold Everything,” and James actually got a songwriting credit in return (under his real name, Nicholas Williams). Now, James has hopped onboard for the song’s second official remix, adding in a swaggering new opening verse that namedrops Eddie Murphy, MC Hammer, and Beyoncé. He also raps “I’m too hot, hot damn! / I like myself on Instagram,” which is hilarious and great. Listen below.
