For a while last year, the legendary Memphis rap hardhead libertine Juicy J was cranking out great singles like “Low” (with Nicki Minaj, Lil Bibby, and Young Thug) and “Ice” (with Future and A$AP Ferg), and he still couldn’t get a release date for his album Pure THC: The Hustle Continues. That’s more an indictment of major-label rap than it is of Juicy, who has never stopped making enormous-sounding songs. But if anything can get Juicy an album release, it’s this: “Tryna Fuck,” a charming ditty that features Drake, who previously worked with Juicy on the “Worst Behavior” video, and omnipresent hornball crooner Ty Dolla $ign. Check it out below.
Pure THC: The Hustle Continues will come out sometime soon if the system isn’t irreparably broken.
