Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, better known as his stage name Future is an American rapper born November 20, 1983. Future started out as a songwriter and rapper with his cousin, Dungeon Family’s producer Rico Wade. He released several mixtapes between the years 2010 and 2011 which we’re well received and led to a recording deal with Epic Records in September of 2011.
He released a few mixtapes under Epic before making his major album debut with Pluto in 2012. The album proved to be a big commercial success with five major singles ranking on the Billboard Hot 100.
His second album, Honest, was released in April 2014 and was followed by a third unexpected album, DS2, in July 2015, which ranked first on the Billboard 200.
He also build on his success by making strategic choices collaborating with other major artists like Drake and The Weeknd among other pop singers who broadened his audience. He actually dropped an entire joint album with Drake called Wat A Time To Be Alive which included the hit single “Jumpman.” He also dropped his fourth studio album EVOL which included the hit “Low Life” featuring The Weeknd. This album pushed him over the top and solidified himself as an A-Lister in the music industry.
All this success led to his big fortune of an estimated $8 million dollars.
