Coldplay – “Gone But Not F. Cotton”

Coldplay wrote an original song dedicated to BBC Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton, who is leaving after over a decade on the channel. It was played yesterday during her last show. It has the stupidly clever title of “Gone But Not F. Cotton,” and is a goofy piano ballad featuring Chris Martin wistfully reminiscing on what seems to have been the band’s favorite radio program. “How to tell her thanks for the records she played?” he asks. “Thanks for introducing us to Lana Del Rey.” Listen to it below.
